Tyler Duncan
I was born and raised in Loomis, California. I graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2002 with degrees in Political Science and History. Prior to moving to San Felipe, I was an Army Officer for six years, serving in the Military Police Corps. While in the Army, I held in positions that ranged from Platoon Leader to Brigade Executive Officer. I have served in Korea and Hawaii, as well as in Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan), and Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq).
I can remember my first trip to San Felipe as if it were yesterday. I was a senior in college, and my parents had purchased land in Playa de Oro. Playa de Oro was in its infancy, but my folks were able to see that it had potential. A few months later, I accompanied them to Playa de Oro and was amazed at the beauty and simplicity San Felipe had to offer. I have been to many Mexican cities on vacation, and I must say, San Felipe quickly became my favorite. I absolutely love it here, so when the opportunity came around to move here full time, I (along with my wife) jumped right on it.

 I was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. I attended the University of California Santa Barbara and earned a Bachelors Degree in History and a minor in Health and Exercise Science. Before I began real estate, I was a 7th grade history teacher and a part-time PE teacher. I absolutely loved the teaching profession but once I bought my first house, I was hooked on the real estate process. Prior to relocating to San Felipe, I practiced real estate as a REALTOR and loan officer in Hawaii.
I too can remember my first visit to San Felipe. My in-laws were building a home and we visited to witness the progress. When we got there, I must say there were many visionaries laying the foundation for beautiful Playa de Oro. I remember there was a stick in the ground that said pool, and I had to second guess the "investment opportunity" that was occurring. Tyler and I continued to visit and we watched Playa de Oro develop and grow. Eventually an incredible pool and recreation area replaced the stick, and homes quickly created a community and a family. We could hardly pass up the opportunity to assist in the vision of Playa San Rafael.
Integrity and and honesty are our watchwords. We understand the idea of purchasing property, let alone in a foreign country, is a major decision. We feel that our job is to educate you on the process; to ensure you feel comfortable with the transaction. This is an exciting time here in Playa San Rafael and Playa de Oro.
